Job description
Charterhouse is working with a prestigious leading international Law Firm based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Our client is looking to hire a 2 – 4 PQE Project Finance Associate who has experience advising sponsors, lenders and government institutions in the Middle East, Africa and Europe on the financing and acquisition of energy and infrastructure assets.
About the role
As a Project Finance Associate, you should have at least 2 years of PQE in projects finance, preferably with a focus on infrastructure and/or energy. This role will require strong business development skills as you will be expected to contribute to the development of new and existing clients.
The project finance team in the Dubai office is established and market leading – known particularly for acting for top tier sponsors, lenders and government institutions in the Middle East, Africa and Europe across the full range of energy and infrastructure sectors.
About you
To be considered for this role, you must have at least two years of project and project finance work experience (including complex cross-border transactions) from a well-regarded international firm. England & Wales qualification is preferred but the role is open to those qualified in major commonwealth jurisdictions (US, NZ, Australia, Canada, South Africa, India).
Our client is looking for candidates who have a commercial approach and excellent client facing skills along with strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Candidates based in the UAE are preferred however, our client is willing to offer a relocation package for the right candidate.
