Charterhouse is working with an innovative chemicals organisation who is looking to hire an Account Manager of Functional Polyolefin. As the Sales and Logistics Manager you will report to the Sales Director. This position will cover the following GCC (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman), Turkey.
About the Role
Your main responsibilities will be to manage and develop 40 existing medium size accounts and distributors. Responsible for contract negotiations and developments, communicating with high level senior executives for multinational accounts headquartered within and outside of the territory. This position also includes marketing and sales to the Bitumen customers.
The successful candidate should have a technical background, preferably in polymers and/or chemicals and have a minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in sales. The position requires experience in specialty sales in a structured environment with a high focus on product margins and sales volume optimization. In addition, the ideal candidate should have experience of adapting quickly and efficiently to a fast dynamic and changing market.
You should have exceptional communication skills and fluency in English, Arabic and French would be advantageous. Excellent negotiator skills to senior executive level clients, good knowledge of strategic selling tactics, as well as proven ability to work within a complex organisation is essential for this role.
You should have technical competence and understand the customer’s needs, as well as being able to select development projects, provide technical assistance and identify solutions with customers R&D centres.
