Charterhouse is working with a leading UAE financial organisation who is looking to hire a UAE National Administrative Assistant to join their organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is a market leading investment organisation with significant interests in the UAE, the wider GCC and on a global scale.
About the role
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for carrying out a variety of administrative and staff support activities for the CEO’s office. This role will handle hotel and restaurant reservations, diary and calendar management, communicate with external parties, assist with events and other administrative tasks as required.
In addition, the Assistant will greet and welcome clients or guests into the business, answer phone calls and respond to queries where possible, as well as manage correspondence including emails, PowerPoint presentations and Excel reports.
This role will be working in an international team and the duties will therefore be varied and must be flexible working within a diverse team.
About you
To be considered for this role, the candidate should be presentable with a professional approach and have a career history as an Administration Assistant, preferably within a financial service organisation. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role is required.
It is essential to have proficient MS Office skills and outstanding communication skills. The ideal candidate must have a can-do approach, professional outlook and ability to remain calm and focused when under pressure. This role is for UAE Nationals only and ideally should be residing in Abu Dhabi already.
