Charterhouse are currently handling a search for one of our leading development clients, whom at a group level, who is looking to hire an Assistant Finance Manager, General Ledger.
About the role
This role will be heavily geared towards the management and control of the general ledgers, within an accounting team to support all areas of financial accounting and finalisation. This role will take ownership of ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all transactional accounting, aligned to both company policy and IFRS and shall support a Finance Manager to allow for the timely execution & completion of month-end closing of financial statements. The nature of the business means that this role covers extensive and in depth accounting technicalities, spanning all areas of transactions but also extending to areas of inventory depreciations, fixed assets and investment CAPEX.
The successful candidate should be a technically proficient Chartered Accountant who is able to demonstrate strong exposure across general ledgers coupled with an ability to process strong financial statements for senior management & stakeholder review. The client is looking to pinpoint a candidate whom has front-line experience to Oracle, as an ERP, to ensure ease of inception and a self-starter. You will also be required to display up to seven years of experience with a portion of that within a UAE based services organisation.
