Charterhouse is working with a private club in Qatar, who is looking to hire an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee the full Food & Beverage function across the venue.
About the role
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager of the club and work closely with the Head Chef and the Guest Relations Manager. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing the FOH team consisting of approx. 25 staff including baristas, wait staff, team leaders and supervisors. This role will oversee the full F&B space including both a restaurant and lounge area.
In addition, you will also manage the business function of the restaurant, preparing relevant reports for the senior management, reviewing inventory and supporting on payroll, whilst making sure your team consistently provides the highest possible service levels.
The successful candidate should be an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager, who is looking for a new challenge with growth potential. Experience in a 5-star environment is essential, either hotel or stand-alone high end fine dining. The ideal candidate is a leader, a go getter, with exceptional people skills.
The scope of the role requires a candidate who is efficient and willing to jump in where required in this exciting start up environment. A proven track record leading a team with impeccable service levels is key to this role. GCC experience is of added value. Only Arabic speakers will be considered.
