Charterhouse are currently partnering with a DIFC-based international law firm, within their fiduciary services arm, whom are in the process of looking to recruit an Assistant Vice President (AVP) within their Fiduciary Services and Fund Administration unit.
About the role
This role will take ownership of a broad range of operational and administration-based responsibilities, supporting a Vice President locally, whilst acting as an intermediary with their off-shore centres, to provide a fully-fledged services platform whilst also acting in support of any required client services activity. The AVP will take ownership of areas across fund accounting, fund administration whilst overseeing any transactional activity, linking to off-shore fund management, services and jurisdiction law, to ensure areas of regulatory policy are adhered to within the investment trusts and asset finance transactions. In conjunction, the AVP will also provide an insight to finance law and product structuring; to provide both fiduciary and administration services supporting both front-office/client contact and back office settlements and confirmation requirements.
The client will look to hire a qualified Lawyer with exposure to areas of Fiduciary Services, ideally within off-shore centres, coupled with exposure to the incorporation and management of company structures, directorships and ownership. The successful candidate shall also possess an understanding of Fund Services, along with the provision of strong governance and compliance expertise, geared towards company listing, operational advisory and regulatory management. The niche nature of this role means that the client is open to candidates across international off-shore jurisdictions; whereby a track record and knowledge-base can be added to the role and the service-line of the department.
