Job description

Charterhouse is working with a leading UAE real estate development and investment company whose asset portfolio includes retail, hospitality, facilities management and real estate services.

As part of the developments' continued ambition to remain a leading travel & tourism destination, paired with its vision to offer its customers premium lifestyle solutions, our client is seeking an AVP of Hospitality to join its team in Ras Al Khaimah who will be responsible for maximizing the value of the company's assets both operationally and through capital investment.

About the role
The AVP of Hospitality will work closely with the developments hospitality management to benchmark and analyse hotel operations, business plans, capital investments, sales & marketing and strategy, ensuring all services are optimized.

This role will keep abreast of the market conditions within the specific industry, including supply and demand changes. Additionally, the AVP will make recommendations to the Executive Committee for short and long-term strategic plans for its hospitality assets.

In conjunction, the role will monitor and examine the operating performance of the assets to ensure the return on investment in each asset is maximized, whilst attending monthly management meetings with hotel executives to review monthly & quarterly operating performance, business plans and strategic plans.

About you
The client will look to recruit an experienced Real Estate and Asset Management professional, with a minimum of 8 years of experience managing Hotel and Hospitality assets in the UAE, GCC or Europe.

To be considered for this role, the candidate must have extensive knowledge of managing real estate portfolios with multiple properties and be able to prepare portfolio budgets and strategies that are reported to senior management and board level. The selected candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, from an internationally recognised University.
