Charterhouse is working with a leading distributor of premium furniture brands which is looking to hire an experienced Sales Manager to join its Projects Division. The purpose of this role will be to generate and increase B2B sales with a focus on the hospitality sector and architecture and design community.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced, collaborative and dedicated team, representing a range of well-known premium brands. This role will be heavily geared towards generating and closing new business leads and will involve regularly meeting with clients to offer tailored product recommendations and solutions which meet their project requirements.
Day to day responsibilities will include building a strong sales pipeline, proactively conducting prequalified meetings to build relationships with key decision makers, in addition to preparing quotations/following up and negotiating conditions to close sales. Prior experience of project sales within hospitality with an existing network of contacts such as designers, contractors or key decision makers would be highly preferable.
Due to the extensive travel involved within the UAE a valid driver’s license and own car is essential, in addition there will be travel to other regions within the GCC from time to time, therefore candidates must be flexible to travel overseas when required. This role requires a commercially driven individual who has a passion for sales and building strong long-lasting relationships.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years successful track record in B2B sales with a focus on furniture/lighting, handling hospitality projects. Successful candidates must possess a valid UAE driving license and have their own car due to the extensive travel involved for client meetings across the UAE.
