Our client, a premium boutique coffee producer who are striving to be regarded as specialists and market leaders in their field, have exclusively retained Charterhouse to hire a Brand Manager working closely with the CEO.
About the role
The key focus of this role will be to develop, maintain and increase the brand presence across the UAE and ultimately across the GCC region. You will be responsible for brand development within the retail bricks and mortar space, such as key supermarkets and other retail channels within both the mass and premium coffee segment. This is crucial to brand awareness as is the development of key relationships with distributors as well as working with them to achieve the highest level of brand awareness in the market. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to; strategic planning, establishing short, medium and long term brand objective along with, handling sales volume forecasts, financial projections and distribution as well as market share targets.
The ideal candidate should have bachelors or master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar field. You should currently be involved in Sales, Business Development or working as a Brand Manager for a premium food brand in the UAE, with experience in the sales, marketing and strategic side of the business. A comprehensive network of contacts within food retail as well as strong relationships with distributors is a must / essential. Our client has a preference for an Arabic speaking candidate, however non Arabic speaking candidates would also be considered with extensive experience.
