Charterhouse is working with an international interior solutions business, specialising in corporate and commercial fixture & fittings, who are looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join their team in Riyadh. Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development professional to support their expansion across the GCC and MENA.
About the role
The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Country Sales Director and liaise with both the Sales and Design teams in Dubai and Riyadh. Furthermore, this senior position will require you to generate new projects by developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients and consultants in and around the GCC and MENA region.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the Business Development efforts of the office and supporting its higher-level strategy. In addition, you’ll be tasked with expanding your network, management and professional capabilities through participation in professional organisations as identified and approved by the Sales Director. You will be responsible for proactively providing business development progress reports to the team in Saudi Arabia and working closely with the business development in team Dubai.
The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor Degree in a relative background with at least 5 years’ experience in Business Development within interior work space solutions. The incumbent will have a proven track record of designing global business development strategies in order to win multi-dollar corporate / commercial projects, utilising your network and connections in the most effective manner.
The selected candidate will be fluent in Arabic and English and have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Preference will be given to candidate with an extensive network of regional and international engineering and design consultancies.
