Charterhouse is working with a British Design and Manufacturing specialist that provides water and waste-water piping products to the construction sector. As part of their growth strategy, our client is looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager, who will be the first hire into their newly created Saudi Arabian office.
About the role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating sales for the company’s product range within KSA, developing and maintaining working relationships with Giga-Projects, Real Estate Developers, Engineering Consultancies, and Contractors.
This management level role will assess the business’ current sales channels and look to improve them by creating demand for the wider buildings and civils product range in the local market as well as generate sales through local distributors. Additionally, the role will look to create effective relationships with KSA authorities to ensure conversion success with the ongoing giga-projects.
Acting as a sole point of contact for KSA, the role will work closely with the senior leadership team in Dubai, effectively communicating sales strategy and revenue generation, aligning it to the company’s growth plans.
The client will look to recruit an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of developing new business as well as selling building products into the built environments within the GCC – real estate developers, contractors, consultancies. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently as the sole point of contact for our client's newly created office in KSA. Candidates holding current relationships with local and government entities will be considered as a priority.
The selected candidate will be a “go-getter” and commercially astute, who is self-motivated to grow a satellite office into a large-scale operation.
