Charterhouse is working with a leading multinational client which designs and manufactures water and waste piping products to the Construction sector. As a result of the brands growth within the region, our client is looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to be based in Saudi Arabia who has an existing portfolio of industry relevant partners and contacts.

About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected brand which has a strong global presence at an exciting time as the organisation has recently established physical operations in Saudi Arabia. The Business Development Manager will focus on maintaining and developing business through a variety of channels, in addition to maximizing revenue opportunities to promote the product range across wider business divisions. Additionally, this role will be responsible for tracking mega projects, developing annual sales plans and producing regular performance reports related to conversion, sales pipeline and revenue generation.

 

Our client is looking to hire a self-motivated and analytical individual who can build effective relationships with local authorities, consultants and contractors within the construction sector. This role will report to the Sales Director based in the UAE, working closely with the local distributor sales teams to provide training, track performance and identify areas to improve customer experience. There will be a large focus on mapping market opportunities, staying up to date with current and upcoming projects, in addition to monitoring competitor activity in order to gain and share important intel with stakeholders to guide sales planning activity.

About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years sales experience in Saudi Arabia with a proven track record of selling building solutions into the construction sector, with an existing network of relevant clients including contractors, government entities and consultancies.

Our client is looking to hire an entrepreneurial individual who can work with minimal supervision to proactively develop new business and expand the brands presence within the local market. In addition, strong skills and exposure to using CRM software and MS Excel are a requirement for this role.
