Charterhouse is working with an established organic café and bakery who are expanding into the Qatar market and looking to hire an Operations Manager to oversee there first location.
About the role
The Operations Manager will work closely with the owner to execute the vision of the brand in the first Qatar location. You will be responsible for all day-to-day operations, managing a team of approx. 15 per shift across both FOH & BOH. You will liaise with suppliers, work to grow sales, control wastage, support the chef and owner in tailoring the menu and products to the market trends. You will ensure all SOP’s and brand standards are maintained at all times, providing a consistently high level of customer service.
The successful candidate should have a least 2 years’ experience managing a café, preferably also with experience within a bakery or deli style location, having opened/launched a new location or brand. Experience with and or a passion for healthy organic Mediterranean style food will be a great advantage. The ideal candidate will have an established network of suppliers in Qatar. Excellent English communication skills are required, with Arabic speaking preferred but not essential.
