Charterhouse is working with an established iconic five star Hotel Group who are looking to hire a Chef Chocolatier Artisan to join their team. You will oversee all things chocolate for the group, on a large scale. You will develop and implement all things chocolate across the group.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to develop and produce chocolates and confectionary at the highest artisan level. You will be developing new ranges for the individual properties, outside catering or even specific events and branding. You will be responsible for the creation, development and production of all chocolates, whilst also overseeing the highest levels of hygiene and safety are maintained in the kitchen at all times.
The successful candidate should have 5 years plus experience as a chocolatier, a background in pastry would be considered but you must currently work as a chocolatier. You must have extensive experience on the artisan side as opposed to carving. The ideal candidate is a chocolate visionary.
My client has a preference for candidates with strong English communication skills as well as a second language of either French, Flemish, German or Italian. Only candidates with these second languages can be considered due to the scope of the role.
