Charterhouse is working with a known hospitality group in Dubai who are looking to hire two Chefs as Recipe Consultants as they overhaul and refresh aspects of the menus across their brand portfolio. As a consultant this role with be on a project basis only.
About the role
Our client is looking for two consultants, one to focus on salads and one to focus on pastry and desserts.
Salads: you will be creating salads across an international portfolio everything from Arabic inspired to Asian Street food to America. The client is looking for refreshing new salads that take the menu to the next level. You must be able to provide a portfolio of recipes with a mixture of meat, seafood and vegetarian salads and a portfolio of dressing to match.
Pastry & Desserts: you will be designing funky and unique desserts from small snack pastries to jars, cakes, extravagant quirky fun creations, think cotton candy, crazy creams and funky flavours. The brand portfolio covers an international portfolio and the desserts will need to be unique and specific to each cuisine.
The successful candidates must showcase a solid proven portfolio of recipe creation in the require area (salads or dessert/pastry). You must be someone that thinks outside the box enough to make it different but still something that will appeal to the majority. You must be a dedicated consultant who works well to project timelines and is open to feedback from the client for any required adaptations. Preference will be given to consultants with immediately available to assist on the project.
