​Charterhouse is working with a global Asset Management Firm who have recently opened an office in Hong Kong, and they are searching for a CEO to manage the company in this region. The main responsibility is to grow their Hong Kong client base, obtain licensing and make it a leading financial service provider.

About the role
Our client has established offices in other major cities such as London, New York and Dubai, so their new Hong Kong entity should be able to mirror the success that has been enjoyed globally. In order to do this, the CEO will be responsible for building a strong team and mapping out the company strategy and developing and implementing the business model that the company should follow.

The successful candidate will be required to obtain any relevant licences in Hong Kong, as well as assist with the set-up of the newly acquired office space, so experience in these areas would be very advantageous. In addition, the CEO would be tasked with the creation and implementation of early-stage plans such as Business Development plans, budget requirements and targets/KPI infrastructure.

Further responsibilities include, developing the products and services on offer, and should be up to date with market trends in order to propose new and innovative services to their clients.

About you
To be considered for this position the ideal candidate should have a comprehensive network in Hong Kong in order to successfully market the firm’s products and services. Experience in a leadership role within an international firm is essential as you will be in constant communication with the leadership teams in our clients’ offices across the globe.

Our client is heavily focused on Asset Management and Digital Banking, so a background in a similar firm would be preferred.
