Job description
Charterhouse is working with an exciting start-up private equity fund who are the investment arm of a large holding group. Our client is looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to head up their compliance function.
About the role
As the Compliance Officer, this role will be a stand-alone representative responsible for covering the three key areas of compliance; AML, Governance & Compliance. In addition, this role will also be responsible for being the appointed individual by the CMA and ensuring adherence to the regulatory frameworks.
The fund operates as a boutique investment manager with a core focus around private equity and venture capital deals. Having exposure to working under a similar licensed investment company would be a great advantage to this role.
Due to the size of the firm at present, this opportunity presents great prospects of developing into a Chief Compliance Officer position and building a team from scratch.
About you
To be considered for this role, applicants must be Saudi National. Further to this, the ideal candidate must hold at least 3+ years’ experience within compliance with an SME sized investment manager in KSA. Being authorised by the CMA is also mandatory for this position.
Candidates must also possess strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
