Charterhouse is working with a leading International Trade and Development company who is looking to hire a French speaking Deputy Service Delivery Manager.
About the role
As the Deputy Service Delivery Manager, you will report to the Service Delivery Manager and be responsible for setting up and implementing contracts/projects in countries with new clients. You will also provide remote and on the ground support with the existing pipeline of projects.
Your primary role will be to implement service contracts. These can involve feasibility studies; procurement; opening bank accounts and registering the relevant legal entities in the local country as well as physical office setup. You will also identify and recruit key staff members to fulfil the requirements of the service contracts.
The successful candidate should have more than 5 years’ experience within a similar role, including experience in delivering service contracts for government entities, especially those relating to software implementation or facilitation of trade. Experience in international trade (particularly in African countries) will be highly desirable. You should also be fluent in both English and French and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time. The ability to look at a task and visualize how it can be automated/computerized to increase efficiency and output, is of crucial importance for this role.
