Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing/Social Media Executive who will assist the Senior Marketing Manager with all marketing strategies across the full digital portfolio for this exclusive shopping mall. Working in a shopping mall is exciting and challenging and the incumbent will be responsible for the website, social media, paid media, in-Mall digital projects and future digital innovations.
About the role
Key accountabilities include managing the digital budget, reconciliation of agency accounts, and the digital account audit with the internal finance division. You will develop and implement the social media strategy and work together with the media agency on monthly analysis and presentations on performance and KPIs on all digital platforms. Integral to this role is providing social media support to retailers and again working with the media agency to manage pay-per-click campaigns, display, and paid social media plans including budgeting, execution, reporting and optimisation etc. You will be part of, and contribute to the regional digital projects and update all stakeholders on the upcoming rollouts of planned projects.
The successful candidate should be a team focused strong communicator with solid stakeholder management skills coming ideally from a shopping mall, or have a proven track in digital marketing and social medical in an agency or consumer branding environment. You should be flexible and adaptable in your approach to social media with a can do attitude as well as have a strong understanding the digital landscape and broader digital marketing skills encompassing keyword generation, pay-per-click marketing and banner advertising. Hands on SEO experience within a digitally focused role as well as knowledge in content management systems such as IBM WebSphere, WordPress, CodeIgniter and Drupal would be advantageous.
