Charterhouse is working with an exciting organisation who is looking to hire a Digital Technology Manager responsible for taking the current digital initiatives project across exciting mandates from execution through to operations management. Commencing with site execution, the role will work closely with project management before transitioning into an ongoing role within operations.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be commissioning and testing. You will be responsible for ongoing management upon mall opening of all digital technology elements across our clients operations, project management, marketing and IT teams to ensure stakeholder engagement in the digital initiatives project across our client’s portfolio. You will also be responsible for the management of project program, scope and quality through engagement with contractors, suppliers, consultants and the project management team as well as maintaining and reporting to our client’s commercial team the overall budget of the digital initiatives project. You will have the opportunity to provide technical advice to our client’s operations and project management teams related to all elements of the digital initiatives project. To excel in this role you will need to be an infrastructure subject matter expert on Wifi, DAS (Cellular), converge network strategy and partner selection. Build out Layer 1 support model for Day 2 operations. In addition, you will also lead the selection and integrations of third party partners to enable experiences, retail, restaurants, ticketing etc.
The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s Degree in information technology or software engineering. You should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering a digital technology project or program within a property development setting. Furthermore, the successful candidate should also have technical knowledge of digital screens, content management systems, way-finding systems, cloud based enterprise software, Wi-Fi and customer relationship management systems. Experience working on large retail construction sites would be advantageous along with experience with IoT architectures and device integrations. It is essential you have strong data architecture and/or data science skills and posse excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong diagramming and documentation skills and experience with hybrid on premise/cloud solutions.
