Charterhouse is working with a leading multi-national, providing turnkey imaging solutions to major attractions and resorts. Our client is looking to hire a Digital Marketing Director from an agency background with a strong grasp of modern technology to drive digital strategy and growth.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to take ownership of and maintain knowledge on all digital media portals of the company and outline the short-term and long-term growth paths for them. You will need to align and execute online strategies including the acquisition strategy, engagement strategy, retention strategy and experience strategy along with continually monitoring the market for trends and recommending new products and developments to the user experience. You will prepare strategies to increase footfall and consumer spend through the e-commerce portals. You should have experience in performing market research and usability tests on all digital activities and manage all communication plans. An important function of this role is also to analyse consumer feedback and website statistics to continually evaluate the experience.
The successful candidate should hold a minimum of 10 years industry experience primarily impacting digital experiences and revenue driven e-commerce marketing strategy, specifically at least 3 years’ experience in working within the e-commerce space and posse sufficient knowledge of consumer behaviour and trends within the space. You should have strong knowledge of design principles and a basic knowledge of coding is preferred. Along with a strong commercial acumen the successful candidate should also hold a master’s Degree in a digital marketing field.
