Charterhouse is working with leading Qatari owned company who is looking to hire an E-Commerce Manager to oversee the complete operation for their on-line shopping portal, who will report directly to the Group CEO.
About the role
As the E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 15, working closely with and overseeing all aspects of the digital platform including sales and marketing, brand management, customer relations and IT support.
You will provide insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps, as well as ensure good customer service by addressing the timely resolution of customer issues or comments and work closely with demand planning and warehousing teams in order to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
To be considered for this role, the candidate should have a strong retail background with at least 10 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing and Brand Management, and with the drive, ambition, and commitment to setting high standards.
Relevant experience in a related field, including digital marketing, e-commerce and the management of a brand is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and verbal is mandatory. You must be a self-starter with strong leadership and IT skills, and the willingness to adapt to an ever changing and demanding environment.
