Charterhouse is working exclusively with a start-up Hedgefund in the UAE to assist in the recruitment of an Office Manager for their new offices in the ADGM. Our client, is looking to hire candidates with experience working within ADGM or DIFC.
About the role
As an Office Manager, your duties will include but will not be limited to front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients into the business, answering all incoming telephone calls, and responding to enquiries. The role will also coordinate and collaborate effectively with outsourcing teams to ensure operations are running smoothly, managing any paperwork and documentation, whilst ensuring to complete assigned projects within a timely manner.
The Office Manager will engage closely with Senior Management to assist in the setup of the office whilst ensuring a smooth running of the office at all times. This will include negotiating with suppliers whilst maintaining excellent relationships, keeping on top of contract and trade license renewal as well as maintenance of office supplies by checking stock and placing orders. In addition, you will work closely with 3 Senior Managers to assist them with their business schedules such as calendar management, booking meetings, travel arrangements, managing expenses, and any other adhoc work where required.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have a minimum of 3 years administrative experience ideally within Professional Services or Financial Services.
In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and verbal. As a proven Office Manager; you will be highly organised, a self-starter with proven experience in managing tight deadlines.
The successful candidate must possess UAE working experience, ideally having worked within the ADGM or DIFC. The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated individual, with excellent teamwork skills. It would be advantageous to have start-up experience.
