Charterhouse is working with a leading global law firm who is looking to hire a 2-5 year PQE Employment Lawyer to join their successful department. About the role
The team is highly regarded across the Middle East market and is made up of experienced and forward thinking Lawyers. This is an exciting time to join the team and become part of a growing practice with lots of scope to progress. You will have the opportunity to work on cross-jurisdictional matters as well as providing more locally based advice. You will act for a range of employers from small start-ups to multinational companies across a broad range of sectors including technology and finance.
To give you an idea of the types of matters you will be working on, the department takes on a broad range of projects across the Middle East including general employment and immigration advisory work. You will be working on employment litigation matters across the region, advising on the employment law aspects of M&A transactions, drafting policies and procedures, as well as working on disciplinary and grievance issues. An additional part of your role will be working with restructures, redundancies and handling workplace investigations.
The successful candidate should be a qualified Lawyer with between 2 - 5 years PQE. You should have excellent academic credentials and experience working with global clients. Knowledge and experience of working in the UAE/wider Middle East would be advantageous.
