Charterhouse is working with a highly regarded hospitality group in the GCC. Our client is looking to hire an Executive Chef to oversee 3 restaurants across one dining destination. As Executive Chef you will manage the full culinary operation from café through to upscale dining, you will report to and work closely with the General Manager.
About the role
You will be responsible for full menu design, training the team and creating unique menus and experiences for special guests and events. An array of cuisines are served however with a focus on Indian and Turkish. You will also be responsible for maintaining all quality and safety standards across the 3 restaurants. Whilst also managing the overall operations, costs and inventory.
The successful candidate should have worked as a Brand Chef or Executive Chef of multiple outlets with extensive Indian cuisine experience, preferably with a combination of hotel and high end restaurant background. You should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience with at least a few years Middle East or Qatar experience and possess strong English communication skills. Due to the scope of the position preference will be given to candidates with Indian cuisine and GCC experience.
