Charterhouse is working with a highly renowned multinational IT solutions company. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Field Support Engineer for a newly created role reporting to the technical manager.
About the role
As a Field Support Engineer, your role would ensure that all projects run smoothly, from installing equipment and new technologies to directing crews on site. You will also be required to assist the sales/business development team both within BME and partners as pre-sales support.
The incumbent will have many different day-to-day responsibilities, such as managing operations, overseeing repairs and maintenance work in the field, as well as generating reports for higher-ups. The selected candidate may also be called upon to troubleshoot equipment problems.
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering fast, top-quality support into escalations from partner clients across the region. Your key responsibilities will include providing consultative advice across the business client and providing technical solutions.
To be considered for this role, the candidate should have a bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of technical support experience.
You should have strong knowledge of handling EP technology. The Incumbent will have extensive knowledge in Inkjet and offset technology.
