Charterhouse is undertaking a search for a regional supply chain and logistics company, that offers its international and regional customers 3PL solutions across LTL, FTL and Last Mile Delivery services. As part of its recent business transformation strategy, our client is actively seeking a General Manager to lead its entire Oman operation, backed by multiple ISO certifications.
About the role
The General Manager will be accountable for the financial and operational oversight, leadership and direction of the regional facility to ensure quality service, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency that ensures growth and profitability.
This senior management role, will be responsible for the implementation and compliance of company policies and procedures, industry standards and applicable regulatory guidelines across its operation. The role will require you to promote and expand the businesses commercial activity, resulting in revenue generation to ensure its sustainable growth, whilst embedding a culture and set of values which will attract, develop and retain talent.
Reporting to the CEO, you will work with senior management across it’s UAE, Qatar and Bahrain operations to develop continuous improvement methodologies in key areas of the business.
To be considered for this role, the candidate should be senior supply chain and logistics professional with a minimum of 15 years’ experience, who has a successful track-record leading, implementing and improving 3PL solutions, across LTL, FTL and Last Mile Delivery services. Applicants will be required to demonstrate relevant experience leading a regional / country-wide operation whilst driving sales initiatives and managing relationships with key clients.
The incumbent will have an entrepreneurial mindset to create new strategies and spot opportunities to improve business output and operations. You will hold a relevant degree from an internationally recognized university and possess knowledge of ISO certifications.
