Charterhouse is working with an established global Entertainment and Leisure Experience brand who are looking to hire a General Manager to oversee their office in Doha, reporting directly to the Board.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to provide leadership to the team across the business. You will oversee day to day operations of the location, liaising regularly with all departments to ensure maximum functionality and a constant high level experience for all customers. You will develop, review and update business strategies, oversee all business development and marketing, reporting directly to the Board. You will have full financial overview and be responsible for overseeing the budgets. As General Manager you will develop action plans to balance both growing revenue and controlling expenses.
The successful candidate should have at least 2 years plus experience as General Manager for an edutainment, entertainment or leisure venue. The ideal candidate should already be based within the region, however candidates eager to relocate with extensive experience will also be considered. This role requires an energetic, enthusiastic and driven leader, someone who excels at coaching, mentoring and developing their team.
