Job description

Charterhouse are currently working with one of our international clients, within the Facilities Management space, whom are in the process of looking to identify a General Manager for their business operation within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

 

About the role

Based out of Riyadh, this role shall oversee all operational and business development functions, spanning their entities and service lines within the KSA market. This opportunity is designed to focus the roll-out and development of the company’s footprint, aligned to the current and ongoing growth and diversification with the KSA market. This role has a particular focus towards the hospitality, events and retail sectors. The role shall be heavily geared towards the strategic growth of the organisation whilst also ensuring that the operational aspects, from a facilities management prospective, are set and developed at level of service and deliverable. In conjunction, the job responsibilities will be focused towards securing the required network, to ensure that contracts and pitches can be presented, to the required stakeholders within the client targets. As such, this General Manager shall be required to provide the required expertise and client management track record, to ensure successful market penetration and subsequent coverage.

 

About you

The successful candidate should be a seasoned and well-round Senior Manager level candidate whom can demonstrate capabilities across areas of marketing, finance and business management. Exposure to the regional facilities management sector shall be an essential requirement; whereby applicants can present a network across the industry whilst also delivering an operational excellence which aligns to international best practice. The General Manager should possess an ability to oversee contractual pitches, pricing analysis, market/competitor insight along with a proven ability within team/staff management and succession planning. The nature of this growth opportunity will require a tenacious personality coupled with a gravitas and understanding of both cultural and business dynamics, within the regional GCC and/or KSA market.
