Charterhouse is working with a multinational technology provider which works closely with government clients. Due to business growth our client is looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to be based from Dubai focusing on building commercial partner relationships across Western Africa markets.
Due to the coverage of this role we are only able to consider fully fluent French speakers.
About the role
The purpose of this role will be to represent the business as a key point of contact for clients and partners across the Western Africa region. By actively engaging with government stakeholders you will build new relationships and ensure maximum adoption and consumption of the organisations products and services. You will work in a consultative capacity to build business models and programs which are tailored to the client’s needs and which help them to achieve their business objectives.
In addition to conducting business development activity you will manage existing partner relationships, renegotiating contracts, recommending value added services which support the client and lead to increased revenue for the organization.
This is an independent contributor role, which reports to HQ in Europe and will manage all of the reporting, forecasting and key performance indicators for the assigned markets. To be considered for this opportunity you must have solid experience of at least 4-5 years in a similar business development focused role, building strong relationships with government clients to deliver increased revenue. Alternatively our client is willing to consider candidates currently working for a government entity.
Due to the regional coverage and travel involved we are only able to consider native or fully fluent French speakers.
This role does involve regular travel to the assigned markets therefore candidates must be willing to travel as and when required by the business.
