Charterhouse is working exclusively with a renowned culinary visionary restaurant developer who are looking to hire a Head Chef for their latest opening, an elevated Asian and meat focused concept. As Head Chef you will report to the Group Executive Chef and Group Director of Operations
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to manage all day to day culinary operations for the restaurant, whilst also overseeing a couple of shadow brands that will share the same facility. You will be the culinary face of the restaurant, making sure to constantly be developing the menu and creating custom dishes upon request, keeping the menu exciting and new. You will manage the inventory, budget and maintain cost control all whilst ensuring the highest standards are upheld at all times.
The successful candidate must have proven Asian and meat experience, having curated menus. The ideal candidate should have managed multiple brands within one kitchen or even multiple kitchens. You need to be experienced in a stand-alone restaurant, a culinary destination. You must be a charismatic, outgoing and a confident leader, someone who will drive the kitchen and restaurant to continually do better and strive higher. To be considered for this role you must be experienced with Robata. Due to current visa restrictions a single candidate is preferred.
