Job description
Charterhouse is working with an award-winning premium Japanese restaurant in Dubai, who is looking to hire a Head Chef to lead their team.
About the role
The Head Chef will lead the team of approx. 15, being responsible for cost control, inventory, training, as well as working to constantly and consistently evolve the menu. With the restaurant having strong growth plans in the coming years, the Head Chef will have the opportunity to grow and develop.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Head Chef will successfully balance to culinary and business side of the kitchen and support the restaurant to continue to excel.
About you
To be considered for this role, the candidate must have solid experience in a Japanese restaurant. Experience working in East or South East Asia will be highly advantageous. Our client is looking to cultivate a positive, supportive and top-level culture in the kitchen, with the Head Chef being the charismatic leader, with strong communication skills and extensive knowledge of Japanese dishes, cuisine and flavours in general.
This role is open to candidates outside the UAE with the right experience. Only candidates with premium level experience will be considered.
