Charterhouse is working with a premium coffee and café client in Qatar who are looking to hire a Head Chef to lead their culinary vision across their expanding portfolio of locations.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to be a true leader for the kitchens, further developing the menus to a larger offering, you will support in launching a soon to open location. The Head Chef will oversee a team 36 and be responsible for recipe creations, food costing, inventory, liaising with suppliers, budgeting and cost control. The Head chef will drive the culinary vision of the restaurant and ensure consistently quality dishes from the kitchen.
The successful candidate must have experience as a Head Chef within an all-day dining or similar concept within premium casual. You must be experienced in recipe generation, being able to create new recipes to evolve and complement the existing menu. GCC experience is an added advantage though not essential for a strong Head Chef.
Fast casual and QSR experience will not be considered. Excellent and strong communication skills are required to successfully lead the culinary team.
