Charterhouse is working with a highly prestigious education body who is looking to hire a Head of Administration.
About the role
For this permanent role, it is absolutely crucial that you have had prior experience of managing an administrative department. In addition to standard administrative duties, you shall be expected to oversee various projects including the management of pre-existing vendor contracts. You will also be looking after purchasing, managing the team’s schedule and incentivising additional revenue streams for the institute.
The successful candidate should hold a university degree and possess administrative and office management experience equating to at least 3 years. You should be based in Dubai and ideally possess UAE working experience at this level. Your experience should have been gained within a higher education, professional services, financial services or banking environment.
You should have proven experience of managing teams and possess superb Stakeholder management skills. In character, you should be confident and motivated and have the ability to instil professionalism in your colleagues as well as possessing fantastic soft skills.
You should have excellent communication skills and due to the nature of the role you should be a native English speaker. Due to the client’s location, it is essential that you hold a UAE driving license and have access to your own vehicle.
