​Charterhouse is currently managing a search for a flagship UAE organisation who is actively seeking a Head of IT Enterprise Architecture, to hire into their Dubai based office. This senior management role will ensure all software development, product acquisition and infrastructure design, aligns with the organisational model whilst optimizing costs.

About the role
The Head of IT Enterprise Architecture will design and maintain the Enterprise Business Information and IT Architecture, facilitating the implementation of emerging frameworks with optimal use of IT resources and standardization of IT Services.

In conjunction, this role will communicate with IT lines of business to understand the business’s direction and needs and align architecture and standards to drive business success. This senior leadership role will provide insight and sign-off for the introduction of new technologies, systems, products and applications developed by the organisation, proactively participating in the design and maintenance of IT architectural frameworks.

The role will set clear and consistent performance objectives, implementing performance management and development plans to ensure a high level of performance and productivity is achieved.

About you
The client will look to recruit a Senior Managerial IT professional, whom is able to demonstrate a sustained track record with an international or blue-chip organisation, and has experience of delivering strategic IT architecture, software development and product acquisition across multiple departments within a large-scale business.

To be considered for this role, the candidate must have a minimum of 12 years’ experience and hold a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
