Charterhouse is working with a globally established iconic luxury bakery and patisserie who are looking to hire a Head Pastry Chef to join their expanding team in Qatar. As Head Pastry chef you will report to the Regional Operations Manager and directly to the international head office.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to manage the kitchen team, oversee all day-to-day culinary operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the meticulous and exceptionally high company and quality standards are maintained at all times. You will also be responsible for ongoing menu development.
The successful candidate should be French trained, with experience running a high end pastry kitchen. You should be a true culinary visionary, someone passionate about creativity and working to the highest of standards. Experience in macaroons is essential for this role and experience working with a leading pastry brand is preferred.
