Charterhouse is working with a premium Greek culinary destination in Riyadh who are looking to hire a Head Pastry Chef. This role will be working very closely with the Head Chef and culinary consultant to contribute show stopping items to the menu.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to oversee the pastry production for the restaurant from pastries to breads and desserts. You will train the team in all the required recipes and techniques. You will be responsible for developing components of the menu and maintaining consistent standards at all times.
The successful candidate must be an experienced Head Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef looking to take the next step. You must specialise in a diverse portfolio across pastries, desserts and breads. The ideal candidate will have experience in Greek or similar cuisine and have a proven portfolio. This role requires a highly creative pastry chef, someone who can combine timeless traditional dishes and flavours with a fresh twist. Preference will be given to candidates with GCC experience, however our client is open to relocating a candidate from outside the GCC. The ideal candidate is a true creative Pastry Chef with exceptional Greek restaurant experience.
