Charterhouse are working on an exclusive mandate with one of the most exciting global events organisation who are looking to hire a Hospitality Technical Operations Manager. This is a crucial role which will oversee and manage the implementation of the hospitality infrastructure and technical overlay operations across various sites.
About the role
This role requires an individual who has strong project management experience, particularly working within a technical management capacity, having worked on mega event projects/ international venues overseeing complex overlay and hospitality operation requirements. The main purpose of this role will be to manage the entire hospitality technical delivery across various venues, ensuring accurate and compliant recording and handover of all overlay documentation, technical reports and issue logs. Furthermore this role will be responsible for defining and monitoring timelines and standards for all documentation particularly for power, water and HVAC. As this role will work closely alongside and collaborate with the catering operations department, a strong knowledge of catering operations is vital.
The successful candidate should hold a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical management role in major international events. You should have a proven track record in managing complex projects, including overlay and possess a strong knowledge of catering operations in a large scale event settings. Advanced IT skills including AutoCAD and MS Office suite are a requirement for this role. Preference will be given to individuals who have professional experience working within the Middle East.
