Charterhouse is working exclusively with a diverse holding company with offices located in Dubai and Lebanon. Our client is looking to hire a HR Manager that will be based in Lebanon. This role requires frequent travel across the UAE and Africa as the business requires.
About the role
The principal responsibilities for this role will be to develop an annual HR action plan for the business in line with the overall business and corporate HR strategy. You will oversee / discuss manpower requirements vis-à-vis business plans with line managers and management. You will also generate and implement resourceful means to source candidates, implement and manage a plan for new employee induction and orientation at all levels. In addition, you will facilitate the performance management process as well as implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure better control over costs and quality. The role will be pivotal in implementing HR and training practices appropriate to a modern organisation which values diversity and work-life balance.
To be considered for this role you will be Degree educated and have ideally worked for a distribution company with multiple factories. You will have 4 to 7 years working in a generalist role and possess excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills to deal with colleagues at all levels. Impeccable organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, while managing a large workload and meeting deadlines. Arabic is a distinct advantage and this role would be best suited to a male candidate due to nature and requirements of this role.
