Charterhouse has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional HR Manager, our client, a large multi-national is offering a chance to develop within a vibrant, busy team. To provide HR advice and support to Line Managers in meeting HR needs and objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
About the role
The principal responsibilities for this role is to develop an annual HR action plan for the unit in line with the overall business and corporate HR strategy. You will discuss manpower requirements vis-à-vis business plans with the line managers, generate and implement resourceful means to source candidates directly, therefore ensuring better control over costs and quality, implement and manage a plan for new employee induction and orientation at all levels. You will also facilitate the performance management process at the line level as well as implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure better control over costs and quality. The role will be pivotal in implementing HR and training practices appropriate to a modern organisation which values diversity and work-life balance. You'll be involved in recruitment as well as training and development schemes.
To be considered for this role you will be Degree educated and will have ideally worked in a Retail or FMCG environment for 4 – 7 years, working in a generalist role with some specific exposure to recruitment at a supervisory level. They want you to help make things happen, to provide creative solutions to everyday problems. You will possess excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills to deal with colleagues at all levels. In addition, you will be knowledgeable of current and upcoming UAE employment legislation and have impeccable organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, while managing a large workload and meeting deadlines. Professionalism, confidence and the ability to work in a strong team culture will be the key to winning this job. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
