Charterhouse is working with a multinational leader of dried fruits, nuts and spices in the Middle East. Our client is looking to hire a Key Account Manager that will look after development of the MENA region.
About the role
You will identify new opportunities & increase customer footprint in MENA, prepare a 3 years sales and development plan including root-to-markets strategy across the region. Deliver top line and bottom-line budgets, work to increase potential customer base (focus area, direct retailers & wholesaler) in the region and be able to closely work with the supply chain team to have proper documentation and processes in place. You should have knowledge of documentation and full supply chain process for the region, manage, monitor and evaluate the performance of the customers and feel adapt with visiting customers and the outlets to identify growth opportunities.
The successful candidate should have 5 years’ experience in business development and exporting, hold an MBS or equivalent qualification along with a valid driving license and be from the Region. You should have the ability to communicate effectively with people from multiple backgrounds and nationalities, have strong analytical skills and a drive to achieve results along with a solid functional knowledge and the business acumen to bring continuous development. You should also be enthusiastic with an upbeat attitude and proactive. Having product knowledge of nuts, dried fruits, spices, dates and pulses would be advantageous. Due to the nature of the role, preference will be given to Arabic Nationals. This role will also include regional travel.
