Charterhouse is working with an established meat and poultry manufacturer who are looking to add to their team in Dubai. They are looking to hire an Export Sales professional to oversee all export sales to KSA and potentially across the GCC.
About the role
You will be responsible for all export sales, focusing specifically on the KSA market and potentially looking at other markets in the GCC. You will also handle the initial introduction, contract negotiation and ongoing management of the account, occasionally travelling to KSA to meet with existing and potential customers. You will have a strategic vision of how to expand the client portfolio and the network and to action the vision and plan. In addition, you will work closely with production to ensure quality and supply levels, tailoring things as needed for the clients’ needs. This role is a high volume sales role, focused on B2B, such as distributors, hospitality or restaurant groups and similar.
The successful candidate must currently work in a similar Export Sales role within meat or poultry, specifically focused on KSA. Being a high volume sales role the ideal candidate must have a proven track record of high volumes sales in KSA. You must have a comprehensive and solid network of clients and current contacts with a high volume buying history. Additional exposure of the export market to other countries could be an advantage but KSA is key to this role. You must also be experienced in meat and or poultry, such as calibrated, un-calibrated, breaded and tenderized. Due to the specific nature of this role experience in commodities and or beverages will not be considered. Our client has requested an Arabic speaker for this position. Due to the timeframe and current restrictions preference will be given to candidates currently based in the UAE.
