Charterhouse is working with a leading global law firm that is looking to hire a Maritime & Shipping Solicitor to join its offering in Riyadh, KSA. The firm would be interested in a high quality mid-level lawyer with experience of maritime disputes matters.
About the role
The role will involve working closely with the Lead Partner and the team in the firm’s Riyadh office, as well as part of the wider Middle East and international network. The firm has an excellent reputation, a fantastic Blue Chip client-base dealing with the highest profile maritime and shipping clients and matters across the MEMA region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global law firm, as part of small collegiate team where you will gain great exposure to high end work, combined with long-term career development and training.
The successful candidate should be a qualified Maritime And Shipping Solicitor with c.4 - 6 + years’ high quality post qualification experience gained at an international / legal directories ranked law firm and experience of dealing with shipping work, contentious, or a mix of contentious and non-contentious. The firm is interested in an individual with experience dealing with P&I Clubs and other relevant clients and is happy to be involved with clients and business development. Arabic language skills are advantageous but not essential. Competitive tax free international law firm remuneration on offer.
