Charterhouse is working exclusively with an iconic multinational brand who is looking to hire a Marketing Director to join their regional headquarters in Dubai.
This role will provide strategic direction and tools to enable teams across Middle East & Africa markets to achieve outlined business goals and execute the global brand strategy.
About the role
This is a rare opportunity to join a multinational retail brand and contribute significantly towards shaping it's marketing plans across the entire Middle East and Africa markets.
As Marketing Director, you will support the development and execution of successful marketing strategies, selecting the appropriate marketing mix based on local markets and consumer trends.
Acting as a brand custodian this role will ensure all marketing materials and activities represents the business in the best way and complies with global brand best practices.
There will be a major focus on people development and team building, therefore our client is looking for someone with excellent communication skills and previous team management experience, ideally within a multinational environment.
In addition, there will be regular special projects which this role will lead on behalf of the business, working closely with internal teams and external agencies to direct marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in a marketing related role, with strong leadership experience and team management, ideally working for a multinational organisation. Prior experience of working within retail or for a leading marketing agency is preferred.
Due to the geographic coverage and responsibilities, candidates must be fluent in English/Arabic. Our client is looking for a forward thinking, strategic leader who possess excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to develop.
