Job description
Charterhouse is working with a leading global education provider who is looking to hire a Metadata Management Lead to join their tech division in Dubai.
About the role
The Metadata Management Lead will play a crucial part within the data engineering team. This role will be responsible for establishing robust metadata management frameworks, implementing the metadata catalog, data integration, and much more.
This position will start as an individual contributor role with the aim to lead/manage a team within 18-24 months. The client is looking for someone who can see the big picture and would be happy to have a 100% hands-on role initially.
About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will hold a Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in IT or another related field. Knowledge of data design, engineering, data governance, and data warehousing is essential. Our client is looking for someone who has over 6 years of experience in the Data sector, coming from a technology background.
Management experience would be beneficial and this role will eventually be required to grow and lead a team. Attitude is important for this position as you will be required to speak with top management and stakeholders on a regular basis. The candidate should also possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
