Charterhouse is working with an international FMCG company with strong presence in the GCC market. Our client is looking to hire an Operations and Supply Chain Manager to oversee their KSA operations. To be considered for this role you must have comprehensive supply chain management experience within food sector.
About the role
This role is responsible to drive the organisation by delivering supply chain excellence. The position facilitates the realization of the Operations and Supply Chain strategy, mission, and business objectives. It promotes a team-oriented environment through people development and strong leadership of a growing team of 50 people including 5 direct reports. Activities include, demand and supply planning, procurement, production supervision, logistics and QHSE. In addition, other tasks include; establishing key performance indicators and driving the analysis and action plans; developing and managing overall budget and investment plan; developing new capabilities to support expanding business opportunities.
To be considered for this role you should be an MBA or postgraduate with relevant Degree in Supply Chain, Operations and Industrial Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as well as extensive knowledge of KSA market in FMCG sector. Preferably knowledge of food industry standards and systems along with experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics, Warehousing, Purchasing and Production as well as QHSE standards. Problem solving, negotiation and organization skills are critical as well as a desire to grow together with the business. Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in Arabic.
