Operations Manager – Premium Casual Dining

​About the role
Charterhouse is working with an established independent premium all day dining concept who are looking to hire an Operation's Manager to oversee their portfolio of locations in Abu Dhabi and ultimately across the UAE.

Their restaurants are the place to go, warm and inviting, a place to enjoy a meal with friends or family, or linger the afternoon away over high-quality coffee and bites.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for multiple locations as well as kiosks, also supporting the Group Executive Chef who oversees all things culinary. You will work closely with the senior management team to achieve the highest level of success across all the locations. The Operations Manager will oversee all day-to-day operations, liaise with suppliers, support on promotions and events, P&L, budgeting, forecasting, the overall development and growth of the brand. Being responsible for both compiling and analysing reports in support of the growth of the brand.

About you
To be considered for this role, the candidate should be an experienced Operations Manager, having managed a portfolio of premium independent locations. Experience in overall operations and the business side of things is essential for this role including liaising with suppliers, hiring, p&l, cost control, budgeting and forecasting, extensive reports and analysis.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can successfully balance the customer service side and the business side of things while also working to develop and grow the business, someone who supports and empowers the team to excel. Multi-site experience is essential for this role and QSR will not be considered.

Our client has a preference for Middle East experience and Arabic speaking being advantageous not essential. Strong leadership and English communication skills are essential for this role, for managing a diverse team.
