Oracle HCM - Payroll Specialist

Charterhouse is working with a leading services client to assist in their search for a Oracle HCM - Payroll Specialist to join their HR Team in Dubai. It is essential that the candidate is experienced using Oracle Cloud HCM.

About the Role
This role will involve managing the complete payroll process and will require you to work independently covering entities across all countries where our client operates. As a payroll specialist, you will be responsible for the monthly payroll of 2,000+ employees ensuring accurate and timely payroll.

Your duties will include entering validated payroll instructions into a payroll system, running system calculations and validating the output before timely submission to finance payroll for signoff. You will be responsible for the end-of-year service settlements, new joiners / exiting staff, annual merit increases and bonus management.

You will also prepare bonus calculations whilst working closely with line managers and the reward teams with regard to merit data. Additionally, you will act as the main point of contact for and managing medical / life insurance and administering data to employees.

About you
To be considered for this role, the candidate should have a minimum of 5 years payroll experience working within a multinational company and 3 years’ experience working in the UAE with a good understanding of the UAE labour law. Due to working within a Global Organisation you must have outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

The applicant should have a can-do approach and professional outlook with the ability to remain calm and focused when under pressure. You should also be analytical and meticulous in your approach with proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
