Charterhouse is working with an established boutique coffee brand who is looking to hire a Pastry Chef to join their team. As Pastry Chef you will work closely with the Managing Director and Operations Director to constantly develop the menu and create daily pastries in the main kitchen for the multiple coffee bar locations.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to showcase your creativity and passion for pastry, constantly developing new pastries both savoury and sweet, to offer a continuous flow of new flavours and textures to the customers. You will manage a team of 3 and be responsible for creating a training module to be scaled across all units as the brand expands in different geographies, tastes and cultures. You will also be focused on ongoing research and development as well as oversee full day to day operations in the kitchen.
The successful candidate should have over 3 years’ experience in pastry, having managed a small team. You should have a very strong creative side and proven experience in pastry menu development and creation. The ideal candidate should be proactive, passionate, creative Pastry Chef who is looking for an outlet to showcase creativity and develop with a boutique brand. Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a portfolio showcasing their work.
