Charterhouse is working with a leading hospitality group who is looking to hire a Pastry Chef to oversee all sweets, desserts and pastry within their venue of multiple outlets, reporting to the Executive Chef.
About the role
To be considered for this role you should have an experience in all areas of pastry, especially macaroons, chocolates, breads and desserts. You will be responsible for menu creation and costing, staff training and inventory for the pastry kitchen. You will also oversee all aspects of the pastry and bakery division and manage a team of 11.
The successful candidate should have at least 6 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef and ideally be within the region either at a stand-alone or hotel. This role really needs someone that has great team spirit, creativity and leadership skills, bringing a positive energy to the team. Preference will be given to individuals showcasing extensive creativity and diversity across macaroons, chocolates, breads and desserts.
